The 4th HBPA Annual Symposium 2024 and Networking Mixer brought together postdoctoral scholars, researchers, and professionals across HMS and affiliates for inspiring 2 days of research presentations, networking, and personal development.
This year’s symposium featured powerful keynote addresses by Dr. Frankie Heyward from UT Southwestern Hypothalamus Center and Dr. Manu Platt from the Biomedical Engineering Technology Acceleration (BETA) NIH, who shared their innovative research. With sessions on cutting-edge research, a poster session, and collaborative networking opportunities, the symposium reinforced HBPA’s mission to support and elevate URM postdocs as they progress in their academic and professional journeys.
