Building on the success of the previous year inaugural event, the HBPA Annual Symposium 2022 elevated its program with a poster session, enabling postdoctoral scholars to present their research interactively and engage with peers.

Keynote speakers Dr. Antentor Hinton from Vanderbilt University and Dr. Ketema Paul from UCLA shared inspiring insights and cutting-edge research, addressing the symposium’s themes of innovation, resilience, and diversity in biomedical science. This event strengthened the HBPA’s commitment to advancing URM postdocs through career development workshops, collaborative networking, and a vibrant exchange of ideas, further empowering emerging leaders in academia and beyond.
